A meeting with the Silversmithing group at Claverham College

Hi,
I thought I would share some new artwork in the process of being made a new experience. I will share some older pieces after completing my travels in South America.
I have exhibited my art at Hastings College at their foundation show in 1997 and also in a Art in Hospital exhibition at Conquest Hospital, St leonards-on Sea in 2002 .

Owen has the patience of a saint-we all have individual pieces of silver working to our own themes, colleagues and friends old and new.

A wonderful day at Claverham College, Battle.

The aim of the day was the solcialisation of like minded people and also to finish the cufflinks for William and Jon. The gathering of information for an Assay office application and the buying of tools. Additionally I learnt from Owen and the many group members that were present, both old and new students.

I went to lunch early and the other group members had more information than myself. It was an important lesson in group work; I locked everyone in the school canteen including Owen. The reason for this was that the handle to the door of the canteen was broken. Whilst everyone else knew this I was unaware of the fact.

A colleague called across the canteen that only I could do that! Thanks Gill!

Not my first mistake of the day- my project a small plaited bracelet was not going as planned.

But the day was a day to remember!
